ZETEO™ is built on the principle of transparency. We do not sell student data, and we do not use student work to train external, third-party Large Language Models (LLMs). We comply with FERPA and COPPA standards to protect the educational record.

• Account Data: Names and school-affiliated email addresses provided via Canvas LTI or district login.
• Process Metadata: We collect “keystroke effort,” time on task, and tool usage (Search, AI, Docs) to provide the Integrity Spectrum analytics for educators.
• Content Data: Text generated within the Secure Sandbox for the purpose of assignment completion and teacher review.

We use collected data solely to:

• Generate the “Magnifying Glass” and “Deviation Score” for teacher assessment.
• Provide real-time Socratic “Nudges” via the Help Button.
• Allow teachers to monitor student progress and academic integrity.

We use enterprise-grade AI APIs (such as Google Gemini). Data sent to these APIs is encrypted and governed by “Zero Retention” or “No Training” agreements to ensure student work remains the property of the student/district.
